The manual for holding a completed position: Finish as carefully as you began: the mechanism of 'good start, disordered end' is simply relaxation — the moment of completion is when vigilance drops and endings get sloppy: the last page of the contract, the final step of the handover, the first small negligence after the relationship stabilizes. Ponder and prevent: while everything is intact, install the defenses — backups, insurance, contingencies, institutionalization; the careful crosser who 'drags the wheels' is the model now. Do not wet your head: the top line's warning — crossing the river successfully, then soaking your head at the very end: the indiscretion at the victory banquet, the arrogance after success, can hand back everything won. And prepare the next game: after completion comes before-completion — done is not the end but the seam of the next cycle.
